Welcome to the PAREXEL-Akademie
As one of the world’s largest and leading Contract Research Organizations, PAREXEL has always been well aware of the growing need for qualified staff in the field of clinical research. To meet this need, PAREXEL International Corporation founded the PAREXEL-Akademie in May 2001 as a company-owned institute for professional training.
PAREXEL-Akademie’s first course - the innovative full-time “Clinical Monitor & Clinical Data Manager” course, aimed at unemployed science graduates – instantly proved a tremendous success. Looking back over the last 7 years, we can proudly say that 95% of our course graduates have been placed in permanent positions immediately on completion of training.
The Akademie’s portfolio has now expanded and includes numerous seminars, workshops and specialist conferences. Together with the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin (University of Applied Sciences Berlin), PAREXEL-Akademie set up a Master of Science in Clinical Trial Management. Many of the lecturers on this program work for PAREXEL International GmbH.
In February 2008 PAREXEL-Akademie set new standards in education by launching Europe’s very first Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research. This full-time 3-year course is taught in German and English at PAREXEL-Akademie in Berlin and is validated by the University of Wales.
