I have a vocational diploma (Fachabitur). Is that sufficient?
Yes. We welcome applications from candidates with vocational diplomas. (Fachabitur).

How good must my English be?
We prefer not to stipulate a minimum grade. Although we are interested in your academic grades, they are not always telling.

For instance, you may have improved your English since finishing school, e.g. during a stay abroad. This is why we hold Assessment Centers to test your current level of English (written and spoken).

When is the deadline for applications?
Applications for the course beginning in 2010 must reach us by 15. February 2010 at the latest.

When do the Assessment Centers take place?
Assessment Centers take place regularly.


Can I do a work placement at PAREXEL prior to studying?
Yes, sometimes it is possible to do a work placement at PAREXEL even before beginning to study.

Is PAREXEL-Akademie a Vocational College (Berufsakademie)?
We are not a Berufsakademie (vocational college) but a private college which belongs to the PAREXEL International Corporation.

Will I be guaranteed a job after finishing the course?
There is no automatic job guarantee. However, the clinical research sector is booming, and as a leading contract research organization with more than 9,000 employees worldwide and more than 1,600 in Germany, the job prospects at PAREXEL are surely excellent.

Is the course eligible for a state grant (BaFöG)?
Unfortunately, as we are a private college, you cannot apply for a state grant. However, a growing number of banks are offering study loans. See the following link for further information:
